Manufacturing Engineer
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
The Manufacturing Engineer will evaluate work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of production functions.

$80-100k What's the Job? o Respond to feedback and improvement suggestions from operators about safety, processes, machines, fixtures, and other equipment.
o Investigate, develop, propose, and implement cost saving measures regarding the manufacture of products.
o Gather information to evaluate current work processes to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs, and duration using Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement concepts.
o Assist other departments such as Product Engineering, Maintenance and Quality with design and manufacturing projects.
o Organize and develop training to support employee's development with respect to Heraeus Production System, Continuous Improvement and Project Management.
What's Needed? o BS degree in Manufacturing, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field and at least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Must have ability to run/author own projects regarding line balancing and standardized workflow.
o Must possess a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
o 5S and Six Sigma experience required.
