Human Resources Administrator

Job Description

This position will be responsible for federal, state and local compliance regarding human resources functions.  Employee will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures. This position will require the ability to work independently with a reliable and dependable work ethic. 

Essential duties and responsibilities

Responsible for all human resources functions including but not limited to:

a.       Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

b.      Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.

c.       Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

d.      Participates in meetings involving Union and Management (Grievance Meetings).

e.      Monitors performance evaluation program.

f.        Acts as on site employee benefit contact.

g.       Maintains employment records.

h.      Recruits for open positions and on boards new employees.

i.         Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.

j.        Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

k.       Maintains and updates the online Safety Data Sheet system.

l.         Assists with safety efforts as requested.

m.    Monitors monthly unemployment compensation reports and files necessary paperwork to appeal cases.

n.      Conducts investigations into employee disputes or claims and provide summary of finds with recommendations.

o.      Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all Company personnel.

p.      Assist the General Manager and delegated staff with labor relations as requested.

2.       Other duties as assigned.

         Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel

         Excellent communication skills

Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree (A.A.) or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred and a minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience:

OR a High School Diploma with 5+ years of Human Resources experience;

OR Any similar combination of education and experience. 

Company Description
In 1916, a locomotive engineer and steam power enthusiast named George Bryan founded the Bryan Harvester Company, a small manufacturing firm which produced cars and steam powered tractors. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
